For the record, let us note here that Betty and Gábor have actually finished this manuscript a reeeaaallllyyy long time ago and it was even submitted in May 2014. However, for some unfathomable reason the journal decided to wait until January 2015 to send us the reviewer opinions. All the stranger, since the opinions were favorable (minor revision from one, accept as it is from the other colleague) and once we submitted the revised version, it was accepted in 3 days.... Anyway, I am very happy to have this paper out finally. More evaporation profile and fluctuation enhanced sensing papers are expected for 2015, let's hope for the best.
It is a real pleasure to report here that the first paper written specifically about the evaporation profile phenomenon has been accepted for publication in Microporous and Mesoporous Materials on Friday. This work was written by Erzsébet-Sára Bogya and Gábor Schuszter. It is a very nice combined study on organic solvent evaporation from carbon nanotube paper monitored by simultaneous weight loss measurement, electric resistance measurement and visual imaging. The experimental data are interpreted parallel with theoretical calculations. Well done! :)
