  6. Group mentioned at the Open Faculty Day organized by the Faculty of Science and Informatics of the University of Szeged: 7th December, 2012. Over 50 secondary school students and their parents collected information on this day about the possibilities of majoring in chemistry, materials engineering or molecular bionics at Szeged.

  9. Ákos Kukovecz was one of the three invited speakers to participate in a one hour long roundtable discussion organized by the University of Szeged on 19th June, 2013. The discussion was focused on the motivation of young scholars towards internationally competitive researcher careers. The audience consisted of approx. 120 citizens of the University of Szeged.
  10. Ákos Kukovecz was invited speaker at the 1st Summer Camp of the NL TÖK (Németh László Természettudományos Önképzőkör) on 26th June, 2013 at Mártély, Hungary.
  11. Ákos Kukovecz gave an introductory talk about nanotechnology to approx. 40 chemistry teachers at the National Teacher Training Workshop organized by the University of Szeged on 5th July, 2013.
  12. Ákos Kukovecz discussed Fluctuation Enchanced Sensing in an invited talk at the National Taiwan University at the kick-off meeting of the VOCSENSOR project on 9th October, 2013. The lecture was attended by approx. 30 undergraduate and graduate Taiwanese students as well as project partners.
  13. Ákos Kukovecz gave a lecture on one dimensional materials in the Free University series organized by the University of Szeged on 16th October, 2013 at Szeged. The audience was approx. 300 students and members of the public. 
  14. The Free University talk was recorded and broadcasted on the local Szeged TV on 18 October, 2013 17.30-18-30 to a potential audience of approx. 100.000 citizens.

  18. Ákos Kukovecz gave an invited tutorial talk on sol-gel derived porous nano composites at the 10th Student's Meeting at Novi Sad, Serbia in November 2013.
  19. Zita Ibolya Papp, one of the PhD students working in the group has given a 15 minute talk to high school students at Kecskemét on 27th November, 2013. This was part of the science student recruitment activities of the Faculty of Science and Informatics, University of Szeged.
  20. Ákos Kukovecz presented the structure, interests and results of the group at the annual Lendület Days organized by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences on 18th December, 2013.
  21. Zita Ibolya Papp, one of the PhD students working in the group was interviewed in 2014 at Debrecen as a representative PhD student participant of the "Tavaszi szél" conference. 
  22. Ákos Kukovecz introduced the Lendület group to the Materials Science Committee of the Szeged Branch of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in a talk on 13 May 2014. 
  23. Ákos Kukovecz was invited speaker at the NANOSMAT USA 2014 event (19-21 May, 2014, Rice University, Houston, USA) where he discussed nano material based gas sensing in general and selectivity enhancement by fluctuation enhanced sensing in particular.
  24. The SIWAN 2014 conference (co-chaired by Ákos Kukovecz) was organized between 15-18 October, 2014. It received considerably attention from the local scientific community as well as international participants.
  25. Ákos Kukovecz gave an introductory nanotechnology talk to an audience of approx.  50 high school students and teachers on 28 November 2014 at the award ceremony of the scientific competition organized by the University of Szeged for high school students.
  26. Our group was introduced in a movie that details the scientific workshops of our University. The movie became online on YouTube on 15 February 2015.
  27. The instruments and research topics of the group were introduced to a group of 13 interested 11th grade high school students from the Miklós Radnóti High School, Szeged on 4th March, 2015. The students were all specialized in chemistry and led by the teacher Mr. Károly Hancsák. We received positive feedback from the visitors.
  28. Ákos Kukovecz introduced the group in general and the concepts of evaporation profile and Fluctuation Enhanced Sensing at the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Hungarian Chemical Society on 20 March 2015 at Budapest.
  29. Ákos Kukovecz gave an invited talk at the NANOSMAT Asia 2015 event (24-27 March, Meliksah University, Kayseri, Turkey) where he introduced the concept of evaporation profile based liquid identification to the scientific community.
