I am very pleased to report here that our paper "Photoelectrical Response of Mesoporous Nickel Oxide decorated with Size Controlled Platinum Nanoparticles under Argon and Oxygen gas" was accepted for publication in Catalysis Today. This paper was a nice team effort from many of our good guys. To name a few, Dorina and Juan contributed a lot to the experiments and the manuscript was managed expertly by Dr. András Sápi. Thanks to all, keep up the good work!

This is just a quick summary of the 7th Szeged International Workshop on Advances in Nanoscience (SIWAN 2016). We had a very successful conference with a high level of science, 120+ participants from 20+ countries including Japan, Taiwan, India, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, USA and many European countries. Our keynote speakers this year were Robert Vajtai, Andrea C. Ferrari, Itamar Willner, Krishnan Rajeshwar and Pulickel M. Ajayan. The homepage is now the home of the conference photos available for you to download and enjoy.
Let me take this opportunity to thank everyone who made SIWAN 2016 successful. All participants from the keynote lecturers to the first-timer poster presenters, the technical staff consisting of our own students and postdocs as well as Hotel Forrás professionals, and especially Ms. Krisztina Tóth the conference secretary and the staff of AKCongres who managed the whole event expertly. Thank you and please mark your calendars for October 2018 for the next SIWAN event! See you there! This is just to celebrate the first ever nanotechnology day! ACS has compiled a set of useful resources for this occasion, check it out here: https://www.acs.org/content/acs/en/policy/nanotechnology.html#classroom
